The optimization of short term plans of family farms

The analysis of existing methods of a farm plans preparation has shown that classical neoclassical equilibrium theory cannot be applied as there is no information on a farm level that makes the estimation of the function of production possible. The alternative to that approach is so called activity analysis adapted by Weinschenck to the farm plans preparation. The natural consequence of that approach was the use of linear programming (LP), a technique for farm plans optimization
