Red clover seed production in arid and semi-arid environments is primarily dependent on genotype, environmental conditions and genotype x environment interaction. Appropriate cultural operations, such as row spacing, among others, can substantially contribute to higher seed yields of the crop. The effect of row spacing (20 cm, 40 cm and 60 cm) on seed yield and yield components in red clover cv. Una was evaluated in an on-field trial. The data obtained showed that the inflorescence number per square meter, seed number per inflorescence, and seed yield were subtantially higher at a row spacing of 60 cm than under the narrower spacings employed.
