Research of the influence of calcification on the decrease of the process of soil eutrophication was done on agricultural soil of Cemernik (Serbia) during 2008 and 2009. The aim of this work is to prove that calcification as a measure which slows down the process of soil and underground water eutrofication in the area of Cemernik. The greatest results were achieved on sour areas with a large amount of nitrogen and phosphorus where calcification was done while the process of eutrofication is continuing with a tendency of its increase in those plots where this measure was not done.
