Weeds are all harmful or undersirable plants which significantly reduce the yield of crops. Sunflower is a crop of great inter-row distance which has similar weed community as soybean, maize and sugar beet, This paper presents the results of researches during spring of 2009, performed in localities Kovin (Serbia) and Zmajevo (Serbia) in sunflower crop on herbicide efficiency in weed control. The study referred to the efficiency of the herbicides terbutilazine (Radazin TZ 50) and acetochlor + terbutilazine (Radazin extra TZ). The efficiency evaluation of the applied herbicides to the determined weed species was performed 28 days after spraying. Herbicide efficiency is presented by the efficiency coefficient in relation to the number of individuals of each species in comparison with the control variant.
