In the result of genetic analysis the normal line RIL100 was shown to contain a high oleic mutation Ol in hypostatic condition. In the cross of LG28xRIL100 F2 recombinants were observed with the frequency of 8%. Inheritance of the high oleic mutation in the crosses of LG26 with K1587 and VIR721 fitted monogenic dominant model in F1, F2 and F3. This phenomenon is called as resistance of Ol mutation against a suppressor. Inheritance of the high oleic mutation in the crosses of VK508 with suppressors in F2 fitted a digenic model of epistatic action of Sup over Ol in the ratio of 13 normal : 3 mutant. Combination of Kl 587xVK508 showed in F3 the lack of homozygote high oleic populations whereas VIR721 xVK508 - the lack both of homozygote and segregating populations. In the last case the mutant seeds were disappeared.
