The objective of this study was to determine the growth ability of charolais calves, in 1999 it was 108 pieces, in year 2001 it was 391 pieces and in 2006 it was 253 pieces. We have judged the charolais beef breed adaptation. In the work we analyzed basic statistical indicators (numbers, average, standard deviation, variation coefficient, minimum and maximum) for selected weight indicators at birth, weight at 120 days, 210 days, 365 days and an average daily body mass gain at 120 days, 210 days, 365 days in 1999, 2001 and 2006. Average birth weight in 1999 was 40.09 kg, in the age of 120 days 169.96 kg, in the age of 210 days 257.65 kg and in the age of 365 days 403.88 kg. In 2001 the average birth weight was 37.97 kg, in the age of 120 days 170.19 kg, in the age of 210 days 265,09 kg and in the age of 365 days it was 408.05 kg. Average birth weight in 2006 was 33,45 kg, in the age of 120 days 170.26 kg, in the age of 210 days 289.04 kg and in the age of 365 days it was 413.12 kg. In the first two years the standard weight for this breed was not reached. In 2006 the standard weight was fulfilled in the age of 120 and 210 days.
