anglais. In this research, cold storage of apple cultivars Red Chief, Lutz Golden, Clear Red and Jonagold grow in Eğirdir (Isparta) were investigated for two years (2002 and 2003). The Red Chief, Lutz Golden, Clear Red and Jonagold apple varieties were determined. During the storage period, the weight loss, fruit flesh firmness, TSS, content acidity and pH values of fruit samples taken from storage for a month intervals were examined. According to the storage results, it is determined that 4 apple varieties on MM 106 rootstock could be stored in storage ( 0 oC and 85 _ 90 % RH) for 6 months.

Bu çalışmada Eğirdir'de (Isparta) yetiştirilen Red Chief, Lutz Golden, Clear Red ve Jonagold elma çeşitlerinin iki yıl (2002-2003) boyunca soğukta muhafaza olanakları incelenmiştir. Derilen meyveler plastik kasalar içerisinde 0 oC ve % 90 ± 5 nisbi neme sahip panel sistem soğuk odalarda depolanmışlardır. Muhafaza boyunca birer ay aralıklarla depodan çıkartılan meyve örneklerinde ağırlık kaybı (%), meyve eti sertliği (lb), suda çözünebilir kuru madde (SÇKM) içeriği, titre edilebilir asitlik (%) ve pH değerleriyle beraber duyusal özellikler de incelenmiştir. Çalışmada denemeye alınan çeşitlerden Red Chief, Lutz Golden ve Clear Red 6 ay süreyle Jonagold çeşidi ise 5 ay süreyle depolanabileceği belirlenmiştir.
