The efficacy of Moxidectin and Doramectin on naturally infected sheep with Trichostrongylidae spp. | Trichostrongylidae spp. ile doğal enfekte koyunlarda Moxidectin ve Doramectinin etkinliği

This study was conducted to determine the efficacy of moxidectin and doramectin on thirty sheep with naturally infected with Trichostrongylidae spp. (Ostertagia spp., Haemonchus spp., Nematodirus spp. ve Marshallagia spp.). Thirty ewes naturally infected with Trichostrongylidae spp., were allocated into three groups of 10 animals each. Animals in groups A and B were treated subcutaneously on day 0, with 1% injectable moxidectin and doramectin at a dose of 0.2 mg/kg body weight, respectively. Group C remained untreated as control. Seven days before treatment and on day 0, the geometric mean of Trichostrongylidae spp. egg numbers in fecal samples in groups A, B and C were not significantly different. The days of 7th and 14 th after the treatment, the geometric mean of Trichostrongylidae spp. egg numbers in fecal samples decreased to 0 in treated animals of group A and B but not significantly changed in untreated animals of group C. In treated sheep the efficacy of moxidectin and doramectin were both found 100% on treatment days of 7th and 14th.

Bu araştırma, Trichostrongylidae spp. (Ostertagia spp., Haemonchus spp., Nematodirus spp. ve Marshallagia spp.) ile doğal enfekte toplam 30 koyunda moxidectin ve doramectinin etkinliğini belirlemek için yapılmıştır. Trichostrongylidae spp. ile doğal enfekte 30 koyun 10'arlı üç gruba ayrılmıştır. A ve B gruplarındaki deney hayvanlarına sıfırıncı günde sırasıyla %1 lik enjektabl moxidectin ve doramectin 0.2 mg/kg canlı ağırlık dozunda deri altı yolla uygulanmış, C grubu ise kontrol grubu olarak bırakılmıştır. Uygulamadan önceki yedinci günde ve sıfırıncı günde A, B ve C gruplarından alınan gaita örneklerinde Trichostrongylidae spp.'ye ait yumurta sayılarının geometrik ortalamalarında belirgin bir fark bulunamamıştır. Uygulamadan sonraki 7. ve 14. günlerde A ve B grubundaki hayvanlardan toplanan gaita örneklerinde Trichostrongylidae cinslerine ait yumurta sayılarının geometrik ortalamaları sıfıra inmiş, fakat C grubundaki hayvanlarda belirgin bir değişiklik gözlenmemiştir. Moxidectin ve doramectinin etkisi 7. ve 14. günlerde % 100 olarak bulunmuştur.
