The new variety Natalia is obtained from the crossing of the breeding line № 65 Ч T-073 Romanian variety. The line № 65 originates from the interspecific hybridization of the species G. hirsutum L. Ч G. barbadnese L. In terms of productivity the variety Natalia is equal to the variety Chirpan standard for earliness and productivity, in terms of fiber quality is equal to the variety Avangard-264 - standard for fiber quality. In this variety better combination of length and lint percentage of fiber is achieved than in Avangard-264, as in lint percentage 38.9 % surpasses it by 2.3 %. In the state variety test Natalia showed higher productivity than the variety Avangard-264 and exceeded it in total yield of seed cotton by 4.8 % and in yield of fiber by 6.3 %.
