By zoning microragioning of viticulture is determined typical habitat for each variety, which meets its biological requirements for cultivation, optimal growth, development, productivity and high quality of grapes. The paper has used GIS to determine the vineyard micro regions near Karlovo. This is a typical Bulgarian region for producing quality white wines mainly from the local variety Muscat red. Optimization problem is solved to determine the parameters of climate and opportunity to ensure optimal conditions for the development of the plantation with the existing soil map. Analysis of suitable soil in the implementation of restrictive conditions was done. Two micro regions producing qualitative white wines are outlined. Depending on soil and climatic parameters the relevant varieties and suitable rootstocks for vineyard cultivation are listed.
