Level of soil pollution by heavy metals (lead, cadmium, zinc, manganese, iron, and cuprum), state of tree plantations, determination of biochemical indexes (content of chlorophyll a, chlorophyll b, and carotinoids) in leaves of urban trees of Minsk city in the Republic of Belarus were analysed. Level of heavy metals pollution in city soils, plants (common horse chestnut (Aesculus), marple (Acer), tillet (Tilia parvifolia)) was presented. Agrochemicals indices of high soil covers were different in period of 2006-2007. There was stated the tendency of lowering of photosynthetic pigments (total chlorophyll and carotenoids) at broken and unhealthy plants in comparison with healthy plants on city streets. In leaves of sick trees there was observed the increasing of heavy metals content in comparison with tree leaves without abatement signs. There was stated the increasing of lead content in 1,5-01,9 times; zinc – in 1,3-1,5 times; cuprum – 1,1-1,4 times; manganese – in 1,5-2,4 times; and iron – in 1,3-1,8 times
