The practice of large cranberry (Vaccinium macrocarpon) production in the condition of the Republic of Belarus and in some foreign countries is shown. Historical aspect and evaluation of the USA's cranberry production is given. The first Belorussian cranberry-producing enterprises profits are shown. The effectiveness of the present-day large cranberry producing on the territory of Belorussian Polesye, evaluation of the cost and the trends of their optimization are analyzed. Composition and structure of the costs for the cranberry producing in the "Belarusskiya zhuraviny" enterprise is calculated. Utilization of the idle lands, such as bogs and marshes, for the large cranberry production is offered.
