The signs and properties used for determination of biotypes of intra-variety crossing of wheat (Triticum aestivum) are examined in the conditions of the Republic of Belarus. The results of research of the character of inheriting quantitative signs and heterosis effect in hybrids of intra-variety and inter-variety crossings are shown. Such quantitative signs as plant height, productive tilling capacity, number of spikelets of the main spike, number of grains, grain mass are analyzed. Comparison of F1 and F2 heterosis effect during intra-variety and inter-variety crossing is made. Some biotypes for intra-variety crossing of winter wheat on the basis of electrophoretic analysis of gliadins are suggested.
