Estimation of a new and zoned varieties of winter wheat and winter triticale according the level of ecological adaptability is presented. The aim of the research is application of varieties with the highest degree of adaptability to concrete growing conditions. Criteria of ecological adaptability of the winter wheat per 2003-2005, 2004-2006 and 2005-2007 are presented. The same criteria of winter triticale per comparable period are analyzed. The indexes of yield ability and stability allow to differentiate all the varieties of wheat and triticale according their reaction on cultivation conditions. The most intensive sorts of wheat are recognized Kapylyanka, Tsentos, Suktsess. The most enduring varieties of triticale are Mikhas and Zhytsen. This method of estimation can increase efficiency of variety testing and provide more objective recommendations for the production utilization.
