The information about morphological indicators of the development of breast and leg muscles of the cross Cobb-500 broiler chickens under the influence of metabolism activator Katozal is presented. A short description of the histological structure of muscles of the new cross is given. Morphometric indexes (muscle fiber area, muscle fiber diameter, muscle nuclei area, the number of nuclei per 1 mm of muscle fiber) of the broilers' breast muscles are presented. The same indexes of the broilers' leg muscles are displayed. The positive influence of Katozal preparation on the area and diameter of the muscles fibers, the diameter and number of muscle nuclei in both groups of examined muscles is analyzed. Katozal application with drinking water in the doze of 1 ml per 1 liter during 2-5 growth days activate myogenesis due to the increase of the area and diameter of muscle fiber, enlargement of the area and diameter of muscle nuclei number.
