In the conditions of the Republic of Belarus there were analyzed data on the quantitative content of RNA in a chest and leg muscles of broiler chickens of Cobb-500 cross at different ages. There was analyzed the dynamics of RNA content under the influence of a national veterinary preparation Katozal (active substance - butaphosphan) which stimulated the metabolic processes. Research results showed that Katozal stimulated the protein metabolism in muscles. In pectoral muscles under the influence of the preparation there was marked an intensified synthesis of RNA in the majority of cases in the first weeks of postnatal development. In leg muscles the activation of RNA biosynthesis under the influence of the preparation was marked along the whole period of broiler chickens growing.
