In the conditions of the Republic of Belarus there were evaluated collection samples of blue lupine (Lupinus angustifolius) depending on the length of vegetation period and selection of the earliest ripening forms, crossing of different by length of vegetation period components and determination of a coefficient of inheritance of hybrids of blue lupine in relation to initial parental forms. There were selected samples which could be recommended as sources of early maturity. In the conditions of crossbreeding of samples with minimum and maximum vegetation periods it was noticed that in the majority of F1 combinations there was marked an intermediate inheritance, dominance and super-dominance. In the second generation there was marked the appearance of early-maturing forms, late-maturing ones and a number of intermediate forms. The forms which ripened on 5-6 days earlier than early-maturing parental forms could be used for further studies.
