Результаты серологического исследования диких птиц на грипп из национальных парков Нарочанский и Припятский

In the conditions of the Republic of Belarus there were analyzed the results of a serologic examination for influenza of wild birds of the national parks Narochanski and Pripyatski. There was studied the possibility of carrying of infection of avian influenza as the analyzed territories of the national parks were on the way of migration paths. Research results showed that birds of the national park Narochanski were seropositive to subtype Н5 of avian influenza virus in 27,2% of cases, to subtype Н7 of avian influenza virus - in 7,9%. Birds of the national park Pripyatski were seropositive to subtype Н5 of avian influenza virus in 32,6% of cases, to subtype Н7 of avian influenza virus - in 8,3%. At the present moment the epizootic situation on avian influenza in Belarus is safe. At the same time, taking into consideration the revealed specific seropositivity, there is a threat of carrying of avian influenza virus by wild birds into territory of the Republic.
