In the conditions of the Republic of Belarus there was studied the influence of a new complex iodine and selenium containing preparation Jodis-vet on broad-breasted white turkeys and broiler chickens of Cobb cross at the critical stages of breeding. Produced in Belarus biologically active feed additive contained derivative components of iodine, selenium, ascorbic acid, pantothenic acid, and folic acid and was used for increasing immunological reactivity of poultry. Research results showed that application of the preparation during the critical periods made it possible to render normalizing and stimulatory effect on poultry, activated metabolic processes, rendered positive influence on immunity system organs, and stimulating influence on antioxidant activity of bird tissues.
