In the conditions of the Republic of Belarus there were analyzed the efficiency of new herbicides of not an overall but also selective action, as well as preparations containing several components against apple-trees (Malus) weediness. In course of the study there was tested a new herbicide Folar, suspension concentrates. It included two active ingredients: terbutilasin, 345 g/l and glyphosate, 180 g/l. As a result of the two-year study it was stated that herbicide Folar, suspension concentrates at the rate of 4 l/ha effectively decreased the number of vegetative in spring weeds (couch grass (Agropyron repens); creeping thistle (Cirsium arvense); broad-leaved Willowherb (Epilobium montanum); winterweed (Stellaria media)) and prevented their seed germination (winterweed; common dandelion (Taraxacum officinale); lamb's-quarters (Chenopodium album); and field pansy (Viola arvensis)) in course of two months after treatment. It was recommended to realize single spray treatment with herbicide Folar in spring at the stage of vegetative plants at their height up to 10-15 cm.
