In the conditions of the Republic of Belarus there were analyzed the results of long-term researches on the evaluation of the national mycoinsecticidal preparation Melobass, ps. for the control of May and June chafers number in the nurseries and fruit crop orchards, Colorado potato beetle in potato (Solanum tuberosum) and Diptera pest complex in protected ground cucumber (Cucumis sativus) taking into consideration the phytophage population density number, larvae susceptibility to the preparation and the protective period. It was determined that the Melobass, p.s. pesticide biological efficiency in fruit crop rootstock and nursery-treated plants protection against root-biting pests has made 60,6-88,6% (after presowing treatment of root system), potato against Colorado potato beetle (Leptinotarsa decemlineata Say) - 86,1% (after application in dose of 3 kg/ha), cucumber against Diptera pests - 69,0-80,8% (after Melobass spraying application in dose 20 kg/ha).
