Drip irrigation became popular 3-5 years ago. Foreign experience and positive results of irrigation application promotes development of this method in the Republic of Belarus. Drip irrigation system consists of several components: water source (channel or slit for water taking); pump station; filter station; unit for liquid fertilizers application; pressure regulator; irrigation pipes; emitters. Different types of drip irrigation pipe-systems are enumerated. Packaging arrangement of the drip irrigation systems is analyzed. Special devices used for drip irrigation process are presented; methodic of calculation of the system is displayed. Project of the drip irrigation system is shown. Mathematical analysis of carrying capacity of the pipe systems is made. Peculiarities of exploitation of drip irrigation system are evaluated. Some practical advices concerned with drip-irrigation systems application are given.
