Afficher plus [+] Moins [-]anglais. The rice seed storage proteins are regarded as high-quality proteins in plant which would be the main source of proteins for people who bear rice as staple food. Research progresses on the compositions, structures and biosynthetic pathways have been made and gradually accepted so far, which would be very useful and helpful to provide the foundations for improving the nutrient value of rice grain. In this paper, we reviewed the biosynthesis of rice seed storage proteins in molecular biological levels, including their biochemistry, structure, and coding genes＇ expression and regulation, and also proposed several strategies to further improve the rice protein quality.
