chinois.

An additive-dominant genetic model with genotype-environment(GE) interaction was employed to analyze genetic effect and correlation for head and plant traits in cauliflower, based on 2 year data from 6×6 diallel crosses. The results indicated that the effect of environmental deviation of different years on head and plant traits of parents and F1 was less.Head traits were mainly affected by additive effects for head weight, head diameter, head height, soluble solid content, protein content, sugar content and VC content, general heritabilities were higher ranging from 53.37% to 74.45%.However,plant traits were mainly affected by the dominance effects and genotype×environment interaction effects for plant height, plant spread width and leaf number, interaction heritabilities were higher ranging from 11.79% to 37.27%.Analysis of genetic covariance indicated that the correlation between the head and plant traits was affected by both the genetic main effects correlation and genotype×environment interaction effects correlation. There was more or less degree of correlation between the paired traits. The property and extent of the correlation varied with the paired traits. These correlations could be used in indirect selection breeding, would contribute to the simultaneous improvement of these traits in cauliflower breeding.[著者文摘]
