Determinación de la concentración fitotóxica umbral de bromacil, diuron y ametrina para el cultivo de la fruta bomba

Ante la posibilidad de rotación de cultivos se investigó el efecto de posibles residuos de Bromacil, Diurón y Ametrina en suelo ferrallítico rojo (pH 6,0 en suspensión acuosa y 3,7 por ciento de materia organica) sobre la variedad de fruta bomba Maradol roja. El rango de concentraciones investigado fue de 0.05 a 0.1 mg/kg para el Bromacil; de 0,2 a 1,5 mg/kg para el Diurón y de 0,1 hasta 0,25 mg/kg para la Ametrina. El estudio se efectuó en macetas de 5 kg de capacidad y réplicas por concentración. La evaluación se realizó a los 30 días y consistió en determinar el por ciento de afectación medido como disminución del peso seco de las plantas de fruta bomba. en comparación con un testigo sin tratamiento. La DE 16 (o umbral fitotóxico) obtenida en el experimento fue de 0,02 mg/kg para el Bromcil y de 0,11 y 0,08 mg/kg para el Diurón y la Ametrina respectivamente.
