To study the yield of barley and vetch forage plant in pure and mixed culture, this experiment was conducted in Sarab-e Changaee station in Khorram abad and sararod station in kermanshah in autumn of the year 1384for two years, by using the split factorial design in randomized complete bloke with 4 replication. Experiment treatments in sole culture were 150 seeds for vetch and 400 seeds for barley 1 m2. The length of lines was 4 m and the distance of line was 25 cm. In each plot 8 line were cultivated that in mixed culture vetch barley were cultivated respectively. To comparison the forage yield, vetch was harvested on flowering stage and barley harvested on earring stage. Results showed that the highest amount of LER in %50 of mixed culture of two forage plants (LER=1.32 in lorestan and LER=1.11 in kermanshah) were obtained, and for example in lorestan this means that the yield of per 1/32 hectare of pure culture is equal to one hectare of mixed culture. Therefore mixed culture of vetch and barley can increase % 32 the yield of this two valuable forage plants.
