A total of seventy five male kids (initial live weight of 17.5 ± 2.1 kg) were used according to a 5x5 factorial design defined by five levels of ME (8.2, 8.92,9.65, 10.37 and 11.10'MJlkg DM) and five levels of MP (67.1, 76.5, 82.9, 90.9 and 99.1 g/kg DM). All the diets, which were pelleted, consisted of barley, Lucerne hay, wheat straw, wheat bran and cottonseed meal. At live weight of 30 kg, the animals were slaughtered and the retained energy and protein were measured according to the Comparative Slaughter Technique (CST). Energy levels hadn't any effect on body protein and ash per cantage but on fat had significant effect (p 0.05). With reduction of diet Metabolisable energy the chemical fat of body decreased. Effect of diet protein level on body protein, fat and ash wasn't significant. On the base of this experiment, The second to fifth level of energy and all of protein levels for improving of protein and reduction of body fat are suitable but for sophisticated choose of energy or protein level for diet, the breeder have to consider the commercial or financial and applied aspects.
