Assessment of the role of developing sustainability related content in the study programmes in formation of students' level of knowledge, attitudes and practise toward sustainability still lacks conceptual comprehensiveness and methodological tools. Therefore it is necessary to develop the monitoring practice on ecological literacy in case of higher education. A knowledge, attitude and practice (KAP) survey is a useful instrument of assessment to collect information on what is known, believed and done in relation to a sustainability topic.
