Abbas, T.
Investigation to see the effect of application of sulphur on hybrids of sunflower (Helianthus annuus L.) was conducted during the autumn. Plant grown under stressful environments; accumulate many organic compounds through biochemical changes, which improve their growth and development. Among these, different dose of sulphur application, especially the S4 is very useful in yield improvement. The present study was carried T1: S0H1= (0 kg S+NKS-278), T2: S1H1= (20 kg S+NKS-278), T3: S2H1= (40 kg S+NKS-278), T4: S3H1= (60 kg S+NKS-278), T5: S0H2= (0 kg S+Hysun-33), T6: S1H2= (20 kg S+Hysun-33); T7: S2H2= (40 kg S+Hysun-33), T8: S3H2= (60 kg S+Hysun-33). The experiment was laid out in randomized complete block design replicated thrice. The seed of sunflower used at the rate of 6 kg per ha. Sunflower was sown in the last week of August. R x R and P x P distance will be 75 cm and 25 cm respectively. Observation regarding plant population and plant height reveal that drought at diff
