The study was carried out in Hazara, Pakistan during the year 2001-2002 to explore the factors that enhance the net profit of the nursery business. Various factors (area, business life, investment, number of plant species, and number of wagers) and their correlation with the profit were investigated. A significant positive correlation (r = .639) existed between area and net profit of nursery, business life and profit (r = .432), investment and profit (r = .757), number of plant species and profit (r = .481), number of wagers and profit (r = .672) and number of wagers and area (r = .634). A non- significant positive correlation existed between age and profit (r = .273, probability = .113) and non-technical education and profit (r = .220, probability = .203). A non -significant negative correlation (r= - .270) existed between initial cost on nursery set up and profit.
