In experiments carried out in 2006-2007 the influence of irrigation and cultivation system (organic, integrated and conventional) on the yield, size and salubrity of potato tubers was investigated. It has been stated that the systems of higher intensity of cultivation increased the yields of tubers but showed differences were larger under irrigation conditions. Irrigation, in average for cultivation systems, increased the tubers yield of 5,3 t/ha (30,6 percent). Productivity of 1 mm of irrigation water increased with increasing of the cultivation intensity in systems. Irrigation and conventional system increased the share in the yield of tuber fraction of diameter above 6 cm and decreased the share of 4-6 and 3-4 cm tuber fractions. Irrigation increased only, among examined diseases, the occurrence of alternaria blight. on the tubers. Cultivation systems, with increasing of cultivation intensity, decreased the occurrence of common scab and alternaria blight. Moreover, integrated system increased occurrence of the late blight in comparison to conventional system
