The investigated soils include Mollic Phaeozems Arenic and Mollic Gleysols Arenic.In terms of texture decalcified sand and sandy loam dominate. The organic O horizon and humic A horizon are very rich in their C total. In sorptive complexes alkaline character cations dominate, mainly calcium and magnesium. As regards the fractional composition a small part represented by fraction Ia. Within humic matter fraction I humic acid dominates. High levels of humic acidc bonded with Ca taken together with significant levels of moisture encourage the stabilization of the organic soil matter despite its light texture
