The long-term research of clones SK-13, SK-54, and SK-61 of Italian Riesling grafted on grapevine rootstocks Kober 5BB, SO4, Teleki 5C and 41B covers the period from 1996 to 2007. The research was conducted in field conditions, in the research field of the Faculty of Agriculture, Novi Sad (Serbia) in Sremski Karlovci. Over the twelve years the results from the vineyard, planted in 1993, have shown that the grape yield significantly varied as the result of vine rootstock and the higher yields were found in all clones grafted onto rootstoks SO4 and Kober 5BB. Sugar content in grapes in clone SK-54, which also had the highest yield, is significantly higher in comparison to clone SK-61. The sweetness of the grapes of the Italian Riesling clones was lowest when grafted on rootstock 41B. The vegetative potential is highest in clone SK-54 and in rootstock SO4, and the lowest in clone SK-13, and when clones are grafted on rootstock 41B.
