The influence of operational conditions on the reliability and tractor Massay-Ferguson 8160 service life is analyzed in this work. Experimental data have been provided by acquiring the operational parameters, malfunction details and tractor maintenance and repairment data, during the whole service life of the machines employed in the farms in the Republic of Serbia. This way, relevant data base has been formulated, enabling tractor reliability and service life estimation. In addition, possible errors in tractor exploitation are evidenced, and their influence on the tractor reliability and service life is analyzed.
