The results of the research on sociological aspects of urban green spaces in the city of Sarajevo are presented. The research was conducted during April and the beginning of May 2010, via a survey, in six parks in Sarajevo (Mejdan Park, Great Park, Koševo II Park, Park in Front of the 2nd Gimnazija, Vraca Memorial Park and Forest-Park Mojmilo) in 4 municipalities of the city of Sarajevo: Stari Grad, Centar, Novo Sarajevo and Novi Grad. Out of all the aspects of green spaces, the examinees expressed the greatest level of satisfaction with the availability of green spaces and their greenery, while they were least satisfied with the sports activities and cultural content that they offer, as well as with the isolation of green spaces from the city bustle. In general, the examinees were unsatisfied or moderately satisfied with certain aspects of the surveyed green spaces in Sarajevo.
