With the increase of soybean production in Serbia, there is also growing need for more efficient and economical measures in control of all harmful agents that reduce the yield of this crop, especially weeds. In soybean, as well as in other row crops there is a wide range of weed species of which dominant are broadleaved ones. In addition to cultural practices, in weed control key role has the use of herbicides. In the choice of herbicides of the utmost importance is that it is to be highly efficient and selective in order to avoid harmful effects on the cultivated plant. In 2008 herbicides Stratus (a.i. kletodim), Quick 5% EC (a.i. quizalofop-P-ethyl), Radazin extra TZ (a.i. acetochlor + terbutilazine), Radazin TZ 50 (a.i. terbutilazine), Laguna and Monam (a.i. oxasulfuron) were tested in soybean crops, for monitoring of their efficiency in soybean crops, weed spectrum of action and possible occurrence of phytotoxicity in cultivated plant.
