Straw application (SA) as an organic fertilizer for strawberry (Zenga-Zengana) was studied. Pot experiments were hold in 2006-2008 using different ways of SA: along, together with mineral fertilizers (NPK of 0.2 gram per 1 kg of soil) and together with the bacterial preparation Azotovin. Numbers of runners, rosettes, cornicles, flowers (growth indices) and nutrient (NPK) and chlorophyll contents are fixed. It is found out that in first years of strawberry vegetation SA has no effect on plant growth and photosynthetic activity. Then in years of fruiting straw has been partly mineralized and this increases strawberry yields in compare with control plants. Growth indices increase by 23-26% and cornicle number do by 55%. Chlorophyll content forms the follow series for the ways of SA: fertilizersstrawcontrol (no fertilizers, no straw). When applying straw and fertilizers together, strawberry yields are higher in 1.5-2 times in compare with applying fertilizers along. Enriching of strawberry by Azotovit has no significant influence on strawberry yields
