The influence of biochemical additive on nutritive value of mixture silages of faba bean, alfalfa, and oat with high dry matter content was studied. The fresh matter was harvested after considerable wilting, cut on the 20 mm particles, and stuffed into silage bags. We ensiled the mixture in a control variant without additives and a trial variant with liquid additive containing: Lactobacillus pentosus, Pediococcus pentosaceus, maltodextrin, sodium aluminosilicate, and sodium thiosulphate in the dose 1.25 liter per ton. The application of biochemical additive influenced the nutritive value of mixture silage compound of faba bean, alfalfa, and oat by statistically significant higher content of fat. Higher content of nitrogen free extract and lower content of crude fiber (however, without any statistical significance) in comparison with control silages was detected in the silage mixture treated with biochemical additive. We did not notice positive influence of biochemicai additive application on energetic and nitrogen value in the siiage mixtures.
