The paper describes influence of vermicompost leachate on secondary succession, annual above-ground phytomass and relative vitality of plants occurring permanent plots contaminated by impregnating oil in area of wood processing plant in Zvolen. Results refer to favourable influence of leachate in all studied characteristics. There were higher coverage and abundance of species about 24-26% on sites with leachate. Moreover, we noticed higher values of annual above-ground phytomass and relative vitality about 37-94% in the case of Carex hirta population.
