Commercial corn hybrids trial and plot demonstration were carried out by the cooperative project between the On-farm Research Program of National Corn and Sorghum Research Center and the Mae Sot Cooperative Land and Settlement Office, Cooperative Promotion Department under the policy of the Royal Thai Government to establish the Food and Energy Crops Settlement. The objective of this experiment was to demonstrate and identify the suitable corn hybrids for farmers in this area. The project conducted in 2 locations, in Mae Sot, Tak province during May to September 2009. The trials were laid out in RCB design, composed of 14 entries, with 3 replications. The result from combined analysis showed that NK 40 gave the highest mean of grain yield of 1,257 kg/rai, but not significant different from PF 222, NK 48, P 4296, BIG 939, Monsanto 9901, NK 20, Pio. K95 and Suwan 4452 (check). DK 888 gave the lowest grain yield of 953 kg/rai which not different from farmers' variety. All tested hybrids adapted well and suitable for Mae Sot, Tak province.
