Impact de l’action anthropique sur les changements floristiques au Parc National d’El Feidja au nord-ouest de la Tunisie

Les forêts de Kroumirie au nord-ouest de la Tunisie ont toujours été d’une grande valeur socio-économique, hydrologique et écologique, marquées par un paysage pittoresque et une grande richesse floristique et faunistique. Le parc national d'El Feidja, représentatif de ces forêts, bénéficie d’une attention particulière sur le plan de la protection. La végétation de ces forêts a été étudiée en 1965 mais celle du parc n’a été bien élucidée qu’en 1996. Depuis, plusieurs facteurs ont contribué au façonnement de cet écosystème forestier. Il s’agit, entre autres, du surpâturage, des coupes illicites, incendies, attaques parasitaires, longues périodes de sècheresse et changements climatiques. Afin de mieux appréhender la dynamique de la végétation au sein de ce parc, nous avons comparé, dans la présente étude, deux états de la végétation : celui de 1996 avec l’état actuel (2007). Une cartographie de la végétation a été élaborée en utilisant un appareil GPS et un logiciel GIS : MapInfo, version 7.0. Les premiers résultats obtenus suggèrent une extension des groupements de dégradation au détriment des groupements autochtones de chêne liège et de chêne zéen. En effet, le groupement à Arbutus unedo, Pistacia lentiscus, Erica arborea, Cistus salviifolius et Cistus monspeliensis a gagné environ 177ha, alors que ceux à Quercus suber et Cytisus villosus et à Quercus canariensis et Agrimonia eupatoria ont perdu environ 173 ha. Cette tendance à l’ouverture du couvert arboré s’est également accompagnée d’une thérophytisation de plus en plus intense avec 47% d’espèces annuelles, outre une augmentation pour les espèces psammo-thermophiles. Le Parc National d’El Feidja, patrimoine naturel de biodiversité, se trouve menacé et nécessite des mesures plus sérieuses de sauvegarde

anglais. The Kroumirie’s forests in north-western Tunisia have an important social, economic, hydrologic and ecologic value. They are marked with a magnificent landscape and a high floristic and faunistic richness. The National Park of El Feidja, representative of the region’s forests benefits from a particular attention, especially in regard to protection. Vegetation in these forests was studied in 1965, but that within the park area has not been elucidated until 1996. Since then, many factors, overgrazing, fires, long periods of drought and climate changes have contributed to the modelling of this forest ecosystem. For a better understanding of the vegetation dynamics within this protected area, we attempted in this study, to compare two vegetation situations: the first one, that of 1996 with the current status (2007). For this purpose, vegetation maps were drawn using a GPS device and a GIS software package: MapInfo, version 7.0. The preliminary results obtained suggested an expansion of the plant communities indicating degradation to the detriment of those made up of native oaks (Quercus suber and Q faginea). In fact, lower successional vegetation communities gained about 177 ha in spread, whereas the oaks communities about 173 ha. This tendency towards a further opening of the canopy cover was coupled with an increase in the presence of therophytes which reached a frequency of 47%. Simultaneously, there was an expansion of plants indicating poor soil conditions. The National Park of El Feidja, a natural heritage of biodiversity, is seriously threatened and needs serious preservation measures.

arabe. توفّر غابات جبال خمير بشمال غرب البلاد التونسية قيمة اجتماعية، اقتصادية، مائية و بيئية هامّة من خلال كثافة ثرواتها الحيوانّية و النباتّية و كذلك من خلال جمال معالمها الطبيعية. داخل هذه الغابات الجبليّة، تمتدّ الحديقة الوطنيّة بالفائجة على مساحة تعادل 2116 هك و تحضا بعناية خاصّة على مستوى المحافظة على التنوّع البيولوجي المحلّي و الوطني. تمّت دراسة الغطاء النباتي و تركيبته داخل هده الغابات منذ سنة، في حين أن الغطاء النّباتي داخل الحديقة لم يتجلّى بوضوح إلاّ في 1996. منذ ذلك التّاريخ ساهمت عدة عوامل مثل الرّعي الجائر، الحرائق، امتداد فترة الجفاف الصّيفيّ، و التّغيّرات المناخيّة في نحت هذه المنظومة البيئيّة الغابويّة. واستهدفت هذه الدّراسة الوقوف على ديناميكيّة تطوّر الغطاء النباتيّ و تشكّل المجموعات النباتيّة داخل الحديقة. و لتحقيق هذا الهدف وقعت مقارنة حالتين مختلفتين للغطاء النباتيّ، تعود الأولى لسنة 1996 في حين تعود الثّانية للوضع الرّاهن لسنة 2007 حيث تمّ تخريط التوزيع النّباتي لمنطقة الدّراسة باستعمال برنامج كمبيوتر لنظام المعلومات الجغرافيّة (MapInfo) و جهاز للتّموقع الجغرافي العالمي المرتبط بالأقمار الصناعيّة ((GPS. أظهرت النتائج الأوليّة المتحصّل عليها توسّعا للمجموعات النباتية المرتبطة بالتعاقب التراجعي للنّظم الغابويّة على حساب مجموعات البيت الأصيل المرتبطة بالتّواجد الكثيف لأشجار بلّوط الزّان و الفلّين، إذ تمّ تسجيل ارتفاع في مساحة المجموعات الأولى بما يقارب 177هك، في حين تقهقرت مساحة
