anglais. This research was conducted to determine magnetic resonance method usability for core browning developing in pears cv. Santa Maria (Pyrus Comminus L.) during storage period in 2004. After harvesting and precooling seed cavity temperature in 18 h to 2-3 ºC, fruits were stored at 3 ºC for a period of 16 weeks. During storage, fruit images were taken using MR at biweekly intervals to capture any internal disorders.

Bu araştırma, 2004 yılında Santa Maria armut (Pyrus Comminus L.) çeşidinde depolama aşamasında meydana gelen çekirdek evi kararmasının Manyetik Rezonans (MR) yöntemi ile tespit edilebilirliğini ortaya koymak amacıyla yapılmıştır. Hasat edildikten sonra soğuk hava deposuna getirilerek ön soğutulan meyveler 16 hafta süreyle meyve çekirdek evi sıcaklığı 2-3 ºC olacak şekilde 18 h içerisinde hedeflenen sıcaklığa düşürülerek soğuk muhafazaya alınmışlardır.
