The objective of this study was to develop the molecular markers linked to brown rust resistance gene Lr13 in order to use in markerassisted selection. 41 Thatcher near isogenic lines obtained from CIMMYT and of which each contains different brown rust resistance gene were used as genetic material for this study. In addition, a cross was made between susceptible local variety Izmir 85 and the line of 12 number (Tc6/Frontana) that contain Lr13 gene and F1 generation of this cross with the parents were the other material to evaluate.
Afficher plus [+] Moins [-]turc. Bu çalışmada markörler yardımıyla seleksiyonda kullanabilmek için, kahverengi pas dayanıklılık geni Lr13'e ait moleküler markörleri geliştirmek amaçlanmıştır. CIMMYT'ten temin edilmiş ve her biri farklı bir kahverengi pas dayanıklılık geni taşıyan 41 adet Thatcher yakın izogenik hattı materyal olarak kullanılmıştır. Ayrıca, duyarlı yerli çeşit İzmir 85 ile Lr13 genini taşıyan 12 No'lu dayanıklı hat (Tc6/Frontana) arasında melezleme yapılmış ve bunların F1 generasyonu ile bu ebeveynler çalışmanın diğer bir materyalini oluşturmuştur.
