In this study, aims at discovering the deficiencies of the tradiotonally constructed storehouses and planning new storehouses that will provide the best circumstances in order to keep the grains in good conditions by analyzing the current situations of the storehouses that are owned by farmers, cooperatives, trademen and TMO around Adana and its vicinity.

Bu çalışma, Adana ili ve ilçelerindeki çiftçilerimizin, kooperatiflerin, tüccarların ve TMO'nun sahip olduğu hububat depolarının mevcut durumları incelenerek, önceden yapılmış depoların eksikleri ve yeni yapılacak depolarda ürünlerin en sağlıklı şekilde korunarak depolanabilmesi için inşa edilecek depoların ona göre planlanmasını amaçlamıştır. Araştırma kapsamında farklı yapıda depolarda depolanan mısırların, aylara göre nem oranları ölçülmüştür.Araştırma alanı Adana ili ve ilçelerinde yer almaktadır.Bölgedeki depoların tamamına yakın bir kısmı geleneksel adi depo tipinde yapılmıştır.
