Research on the natural forest structure in forest enterprise of Con Cuong - Nghe An province

In order to contribute to the sustainable forest management for production natural forests and raise its productivity, the research on natural forest structure are carried out. This study would be scientific basics for further researches on determining technical measures for forest management options and proposing forest management projects for Con Cuong Forest Enterprise in Nghe An province. Rich forest, medium secondary forest, poor secondary forest and rehabilitation forest are four forest classes that were researched. Species composition, distribution of tree number according to DBH (N/D1.3m), tree density, complexions of horizontal distribution and tree volume distribution among to DBH (M/D1.3m) are identified. Regarding to the regeneration characteristics the species proportion, quality and correlation between regeneration tree composition and high layer tree composition are also specified.
