The indispensability of grading fruits and vegetables is substantiated. Different principles, methods and means of grading system are systemized, classify and generalize, in base of patents, prospects and literature sources. Suggestions are offered of principles in sorting system; the technical solutions realize this operation and the way to determine basic parameters of grading device.
