In the conditions of the Republic of Belarus there were presented the results of experimental studies on the effect of two types of complex mineral fertilizers with a predominance of phosphorus and potassium on flowering and the leaves of the state of hybrid forms of the genus Phalaenopsis (Phalaenopsis Blume). There was determined the dependence between the requirements of orchids in mineral nutrition and the indoor climate conditions in which the plants are being cultivated. Entry of excessive concentrations of mineral nutrients leads to the accumulation of crystals in the parenchyma and veins in the leaf. High content of phosphorous in content of mineral fertilizers prolonged the period of flowering of Phalaenopsis species, promoted the increasing of flower diameter and prevents their fall. Deficit of K+ ions at a flowering stage caused the disturbance of water balance. Application of mineral fertilizers with high potassium content promoted the provision with water both vegetative and generative organs.
