Increase of animal productivity is determined with comprehensive feeding. Nowadays one of the most important limiting factors of animal production enlargement is protein deficit. Shortage of protein in feeds leads to grain over-consumption, animals' productivity decline and raise of self-cost of the production. Main sources of protein in rations of agricultural animals are feeds of plant origin: grain and oilseed meal. Plant protein composes more than 90% of total protein content. Deficit of protein promotes increase of production of feeding yeast (Provit), which appear good substitute of animal-based feeds and exceed plant-based feeds. Development of a formulation of protein-vitamin-mineral substance upon leguminous crops (pea, Austrian winter pea and lupine) for calves is made. In addition to plant components in the content of this substance are included such matters, as phosphogypsum, bone flour and organic slime. Complex evaluation of influence of protein-vitamin-mineral substance on up-growth of live weight of calves is presented. Composition and nutritive value of the substance is analyzed. Changes of live weight of calves and feed consumption are evaluated. Hematological indexes of experimental animals are calculated. Economic efficiency of utilization of protein-vitamin-mineral substance in calves' rations is evaluated.
