Balance and dynamics of humus content in a crop rotation | Баланс и динамика содержания гумуса в севообороте
2012
Bosak, V.N., Belarus State Technological Univ., Minsk (Belarus)
In the conditions of the Republic of Belarus thee was analysed a balance and dynamics of humus content after a long-term application of fertilizers in a crop rotation. In course of the study there were analysed three crop rotations: the first rotation: potato (Solanum tuberosum), barley (Hordeum vulgare), oat (Avena sativa), fodder beet (Beta vulgaris L. subsp. vulgaris var. Crassa), spring wheat (Triticum aestivum), fibre flax (Linum usitatissimum); the second rotation: potato, barley, blue lupine (Lupinus angustifolius), spring wheat; the third rotation: field pea (Pisum arvense L.) and oat mixture, spring triticale (Triticosecale), spring rape, blue lupine and springwheat. In sod-podzolic light loamy soil studies a full organic and mineral fertilization system has provided with maximum productivity – 72,9 cwt/ha forage units in three rotations of a cropping system rotation, positive balance and regeneration of humus content in the ploughing horizon. Soil acidity optimization in the optimum variant has increased the rotation productivity for 3,6 cwt/ha, the organic fertilizers application – for 7,5, mineral fertilizers – for 23,8, full organic and mineral fertilizer – for 34,4 cwt/ha FU.
