In the conditions of the Republic of Belarus there were presented the results of research of yielding capacity of maize (Zea mays) hybrid of Kremen variety depending on sowing technology and doses of fertilizers. There was given a qualitative and quantitative analysis of variants of the experiment. There were revealed dependences between the productivity of maize and photosynthetic capacity of biological activity of soil. The economic evaluation of the proposed technology was given. There was marked the dependence of maize yielding capacity grown for silage on fertilizer doses and sowing method. There was marked a positive impact of maize growing in the Poozerye (Lakeland) area conditions on the ridge technology planting on its productivity. In this case the yield increase of dry mass was 20,4-267,6 centner/ha. Also the ridge technology planting rendered positive influence on yield structure (there was marked a tendency of increasing of maize cobs' content). There was marked a relation betyween the yielding capacity of maize and photosynthetic potential which was described in the regression equation: y = 1,98x + 576,3 (R2 = 0,97).
